Dealo ("we", "us") operates dealo.com.au. This policy explains what information we collect, why, and what we do with it. The short version: we collect as little as possible, we don't sell it, and you can ask us to delete it at any time.
When you join our waitlist, we collect your email address, your state or territory, and whether you're planning to buy a car soon. That's all the form asks, and that's all we store.
Like most websites, we also collect standard analytics data (pages visited, device type, approximate location at city level, and how you found us) through Google Analytics. This data is aggregated and doesn't identify you personally.
Waitlist submissions are stored securely with Netlify (our website host). Analytics data is processed by Google Analytics. Both providers may process data outside Australia. We don't store your data anywhere else.
We run ads on platforms like Google and Meta to let car buyers know Dealo exists. These platforms use cookies to measure whether their ads work (for example, whether someone who clicked an ad joined the waitlist). This measurement is aggregated; we don't use it to identify you.
Under the Australian Privacy Act, you can ask us what information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email hello@dealo.com.au and we'll action it within a few days, no questions asked.
